• Major Program Being Discussed For MJF

Fresh off winning the AEW World Championship at Worlds End, MJF already has long-term plans being discussed behind the scenes.

Self Made Pro reports that All Elite Wrestling is actively talking about revisiting a program between MJF and Kenny Omega. According to the report, this is not just an internal idea – MJF himself has expressed interest in working a full storyline with Omega, believing there is unfinished business between them.

It was noted that their previous encounter did not involve a long-term angle, which is part of the reason MJF wants to revisit it. People within AEW are said to be open to the idea and have begun planning around it, though the final decision would come down to Omega’s willingness to move forward with the program.

If AEW President Tony Khan brings the proposal to Omega and he agrees, the expectation is that the feud would move ahead. As of now, discussions are ongoing.

MJF is scheduled to defend the AEW World Championship against ROH World Champion Bandido on the January 14, 2026, edition of AEW Dynamite: Maximum Carnage. Bandido earned this title match by winning the Dynamite Diamond Ring.

According to Bodyslam, LA is expected to return very soon and that could happen as soon as next week’s RAW.

As we previously noted, PWInsider reported that Chad Gable could also return on next week’s RAW.
