According to Fightful Select, Mercedes Mone / Sasha Banks will officially debut in All Elite Wrestling at this show.
WWE initially considered signing her in December but talks fell through due to financial reasons. Talks with AEW continued and resulted in an agreement. WWE publicly acknowledged the end of negotiations, marking a change in Mercedes’ career path.
Mercedes was eventually planned to debut at the TD Garden event on March 13th, with the decision solidified weeks prior. She has been on AEW’s payroll since January, demonstrating their commitment to incorporating her into their roster.
She tweeted the following after Dynamite:
“I remember when couldn’t pay the rent
Now I own the whole building that I’m living in
Sky’s the limit when you’re never giving in
You get in, you ride it out
And don’t look back again.”
