• Major Spoiler On Roman Reigns’ Title Reign & 2023 Idea

Roman Reigns has been the Universal Champion for almost 600 days now. He won the Title at the Payback premium live event on August 30, 2020.

At WrestleMania 38, Reigns defeated Brock Lesnar to win the WWE Championship as well, thus becoming the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion.

According to WrestlingNewsCo, WWE wants Roman to be champion at least till WrestleMania 39, and by then they want to push him as the Greatest Of All Time:

“We are told that, as of today, there are still no plans for him to lose the title anytime soon.

Some in the company have speculated that he will hold the title through next year’s WrestleMania (the hope is that The Rock will come back for one final match) and by that point, the company would start pushing Reigns as the greatest of all-time.”

Roman is the longest World Champion of the last 35 years.

This WrestleMania 39 match against The Rock was teased on this week’s episode of Young Rock.

A scene from 1996 was shown, where The Rock and his family were watching the Royal Rumble and that’s when a young Roman tried to put Rock in a headlock and wanted to wrestle him.

Rock said the world is not ready and such a big match can only happen at WrestleMania.

Reigns also wanted someone to Samoan Drop him, but no one paid attention to his wish and he then looked at the camera and said “Acknowledge Me!”.

You can watch it below:

This match was also teased on the WWE Evil series recently.

Today would have been the 58th birthday of Old School WWF Veteran Crush (Real name: Brian Adams).

Crush became the 3rd member of Demolition in 1990 but stayed with the World Wrestling Federation after the team’s demise in 1991, using several gimmicks until he left in late 1997.

In early 1998, he joined Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling, where he immediately joined the famous New World Order (nWo) faction.

During his final year in WCW, as well as during his very brief WWF return, Brian Adams was put in a Tag Team with Bryan Clark (fka Adam Bomb), called KroniK.
