On tonight’s post-Backlash edition of RAW, Randy Orton opened the show and bragged about winning the Greatest Wrestling Match Ever against Edge.
Orton mocked Edge and said that he would return 9 years later. This led to Edge’s best friend Christian coming out to confront Orton, which led to The Viper challenging Christian to an Unsanctioned Match.
Fightful is reporting that Christian will get physical by the end of the night, so it looks like an RKO or a Punt Kick could be inevitable for him.
“Fightful has learned that the finish of tonight’s RAW will indeed lead to Christian being involved in a physical angle.
Following the show, he will be stretchered out, and a neck brace put on him. Several superstars will come out and check on him as Randy Orton cuts a promo to the camera.”
