• Former NXT Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton entered the Women’s Royal Rumble this year at #29 and eliminated fellow NXT star Roxanne Perez from the match, before being eliminated by Bayley.
According to PWInsider, she might debut on the main roster next month:
“There has been pitches for Tiffany Stratton to join the RAW roster and though nothing is confirmed, some believe she could make her way to the main roster as soon as next month.”
Tiffany’s NXT Women’s Title reign was ended by Becky Lynch last year.
• CM Punk failed to win his first televised match in WWE in 10 years, as he was the final man eliminated from the Men’s Royal Rumble match, which was won by Cody Rhodes.
Punk suffered a torn triceps during the Royal Rumble match. He confirmed on this week’s RAW that he will miss WrestleMania 40 due to this injury.
After Punk’s emotional promo on RAW, he met Cody backstage and said the following:
“Finish your story, bro.”
