• Major Update On Upcoming 2 Plans For SmackDown (Spoiler)

On May 8th at the WrestleMania Backlash 2022 premium live event, Charlotte Flair will defend the SmackDown Women’s Championship against Ronda Rousey in an “I Quit” match.

According to the Wrestling Observer, Ronda is scheduled to win the Title in this match.

After Charlotte drops the Title, she’s scheduled to feud with a babyface Lacey Evans down the line:

“Ronda’s getting the Title. Because it would be really bad for her to lose an I Quit match. So, she’s getting the title. But, Lacey [Evans] as a babyface, her natural opponent is Charlotte, because Charlotte is the top heel woman on that SmackDown brand.”

Below is the current match-card for WrestleMania Backlash:

• Old School WCW Veteran Celebrates His Birthday

Old School WCW Veteran Reese (Real name: Ron Reis) celebrates his 52nd birthday today.

Ron’s World Championship Wrestling debut at the end of the Halloween Havoc 1995 PPV was pretty memorable, as he came out in a mummy costume as “The Yeti”, helping The Giant (now known as The Big Show) to attack Hulk Hogan.

He also portrayed other characters in WCW, such as “The Super Giant Ninja” and “Big Ron Studd”, before joining Raven’s stable “Raven’s Flock” as Reese in 1998.
