• Major Update On Who’s Going To Be Involved In The WWE Title Match At SummerSlam 2019

As seen on this week’s episode of SmackDown Live, “The Big Dog” Roman Reigns was shifted to the blue brand.

This is the first time since the 2016 return of brand split that Reigns is a member of the blue brand.

According to Slice Wrestling, Reigns is scheduled to receive a big push on SmackDown and he’s set to be a part of the WWE Championship match at SummerSlam 2019.

No word yet on if Kofi Kingston would still be the WWE Champion heading into SummerSlam 2019.

An interesting thing that should be noted here is that Vince McMahon originally planned for Randy Orton to be involved in the WWE Title picture around SummerSlam 2019 and wanted Orton to be the WWE Champion heading into the FOX deal as Vince thinks Orton has the perfect look for a wider SmackDown audience on FOX.

So it’s quite possible that Vince could now replace Orton with Reigns in that plan and Reigns could be the one who’ll be the WWE Champion when SmackDown moves to FOX.

We’ll keep you updated regarding this.
