• Old School WWF Tag Team Veteran Celebrates His Birthday

Old School World Wrestling Federation Veteran Bart Gunn (Real name: Michael Polchlopek) turns 56 today.

Bart Gunn first joined the WWF in 1993 as one half of The Smoking Gunns with his Tag Team partner Billy Gunn, and together they won the WWF Tag Team Championship 3 times.

While his 1998 Tag Team with Bob Holly as The New Midnight Express wasn’t exactly successful, Bart Gunn did make a name for himself by winning the infamous ‘Brawl For All’ tournament.

He returned for one night at the ‘RAW 15th Anniversary Spectacular’ on December 10, 2007 as a participant in a Battle Royal that featured a lot of Old School 90s WWF Wrestlers.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BART GUNN!

• Major Update Regarding WWE’s New Plan For Tyson Fury

As seen at WWE Crown Jewel 2019, Tyson Fury had his WWE debut match and went on to defeat Braun Strowman via count-out.

Strowman and Fury later put their differences aside as they destroyed The B-Team on an episode of SmackDown.

As we have noted before, there’s a big possibility of WWE booking Brock Lesnar vs Tyson Fury for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 36 if Fury manages to beat Deontay Wilder in their Boxing match in February 2020.

However, WWE wants Fury to be ready if they end up going in that direction.

Tom Colohue is reporting that WWE is planning to put Fury in a tag team with Strowman so that he can get some practice inside the squared circle:

“Tyson Fury seems to be making a strong case (to face Brock Lesnar), every outlet he’s spoken to, he has been talking about it, to be fair, if that’s the question, he would.

Whether or not Tyson Fury is the one to challenge Brock Lesnar is a question in itself. Tyson Fury is still quite green and that could be a problem.

That probably is why he’s being paired up with Braun Strowman moving forward in a tag team. Both men, obviously, can work as faces and work as heels.”

There’s a chance that Fury shows up tonight on SmackDown (although it’s not confirmed).
