1. Major WrestleMania 34 Angle Nixed By Vince McMahon

According to the Dirty Sheets podcast, Vince McMahon cancelled a major WrestleMania 34 angle last week. The nixed storyline goes something like this:

Last week on SmackDown Live, instead of just offering Kevin Owens a match against Shane McMahon inside Hell in a Cell, Vince originally planned to add a stipulation to the match, which would have been “if Owens beats Shane inside Hell in a Cell, then Owens wins Shane’s share of the company” (provided Owens doesn’t sue WWE).

Then that Hell in a Cell match would’ve seen Triple H making his return to WWE programming and helping Owens beat Shane. This would’ve resulted in Owens winning Shane’s share of the company and he would subsequently give his share of the company to Triple H, who would then become the guy to run SmackDown Live along with his wife Stephanie McMahon and this would’ve resulted in Shane being written off WWE programming.

Shane O’Mac would’ve then made his return during the WrestleMania 34 season next year to challenge Triple H to a match at the “Show of Shows” with Triple H’s share of the company on the line and would’ve won that match to come back in power.

However, this isn’t going to happen now as Vince has nixed it already and can’t add this to the storyline now since Vince already ruled out the possibility of Owens suing WWE (because it will make Owens bankrupt).
