WWE has announced that “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles will defend his WWE Championship against Shinsuke Nakamura at the Greatest Royal Rumble event in Saudi Arabia on April 27th. This will be their WrestleMania 34 rematch (where Styles won fair & square).
We noted earlier that Old School WWF Legend Kane has been removed from the 50 man Royal Rumble match at the Greatest Royal Rumble event. While no official reason has been given, it should be noted that Kane has his Knox County mayor election on May 1st.
Another announced name that has been removed from the Royal Rumble match is Bray Wyatt, as he’ll be competing in the RAW Tag Team Title match that night.
With The Undertaker vs. Rusev back on, Chris Jericho has been added back to the 50 man Royal Rumble match.

All matches have been confirmed for the Greatest Royal Rumble now, except one – the Cruiserweight Championship match.
Buddy Murphy could’ve challenged Cedric Alexander for the Cruiserweight Championship at this event, but he failed to make the 205 lbs weight limit. You can watch it below:
