• Major WrestleMania 39 Title Match Plan Got Changed
According to Wrestlingnewsco, WWE Officials were planning to split the Undisputed Championship before WrestleMania 39.
Roman Reigns was scheduled to drop the WWE Championship somehow and keep the Universal Championship.
After this, the WWE Championship match was scheduled to main event Night 1, which would’ve been Cody Rhodes OR Drew McIntyre vs. Seth Rollins.
The Universal Championship match was scheduled to main event Night 2, which would’ve been Roman Reigns vs. The Rock.
Cody Rhodes was the back up for Rock. If The Rock came back for this match, then Cody would’ve faced Seth. If The Rock didn’t return, then Cody would’ve faced Roman, and Drew would’ve faced Seth.
However, WWE decided to postpone splitting the Undisputed Title, which is now expected to take place after WrestleMania 39.
This resulted in Reigns vs. Rhodes for the Undisputed Title being booked, Rollins being put in a feud with Logan Paul and Drew McIntyre is scheduled to go after Gunther’s Intercontinental Championship.
