Below are a couple of top WWE & AEW news stories of the day, involving Mansoor and Bryan Danielson.

• Saudi Arabia’s Mansoor was signed by WWE in 2018 and WWE began using him at every Saudi premium live event, where he would pick up victories every time.

However, WWE stopped booking him on Saudi shows after a few years.

During an interview on Café De René, Mansoor revealed why Vince McMahon stopped booking him in his home country:

“When Vince was telling me about the male model stuff, he was like, ‘Listen, I wanna address why you’re not on the Saudi shows anymore’ and I was like, ‘Yes, please. Did I do something wrong?’

And he’s like, ‘No. They just communicated to me that they don’t really need you on the show. They want stars’.

I was like, ‘Oh!’ F**k. Like, damn! I see how it is. I think for them, they just wanted the big names.”

Mansoor was released from WWE in 2023.

• AEW Superstar Bryan Danielson has noted in the past that he plans to become a part-time wrestler in 2024.

During an interview with Tokyo Sports, Bryan revealed that he will wrestle 5-10 matches a year as a part-timer.

Bryan hasn’t had much luck in the ring as of late. In AEW, he failed to win the Continental Classic.

Earlier today, he lost to Kazuchika Okada in the co-main event of NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 18.
