• Maryse Reveals How Hulk Hogan Changed Everything For Her
Former WWE Divas Champion Maryse shared the following story after Hulk Hogan’s death:
“Still trying to process the loss of someone who made a big impact on my very first day in WWE. Hulk Hogan was the first person who ever took me under his wing. It was 2006, I had just been eliminated from the Diva Search that night, and I was feeling crushed. I walked into the TV hotel after RAW in Cleveland, heels on, dragging two giant suitcases up the stairs because there was no elevator and suddenly I felt a hand on my left. It was Hulk, grabbing one of my bags, helping me the rest of the way.
He looked at me and said, ‘You look like you could sit down and have a cheeseburger and fries.’ We sat down in the hotel lobby restaurant and talked wrestling for over an hour. He shared stories, gave me incredible advice, and in that moment, reminded me why I was there. That night changed everything for me.

Over the years, we shared a great friendship. He always loved talking about our show, the kids, Mike, and family. I’m forever grateful for that night, that conversation, and for knowing him.
Rest in peace, Hulk. Thank you for everything.”

“Rest in peace Hulkster.
Im so grateful for the opportunity to have worked with Terry. I credit Kevin Nash & the Hulkster for my entry into pro wrestling. A gig I thought would only be 3 months.
He will always be the epitome of pro-wrestling & what it looks like to capture the hearts of people across the board into mainstream.
Sending nothing but love to Terry’s family.”
