WWE Hall Of Famer Edge will celebrate his 25th year anniversary in WWE on tonight’s episode of WWE SmackDown in Toronto.
The Rated-R Superstar is set to wrestle Sheamus for the first time ever, which is rumored to be the last match of his pro wrestling career.
In an interview with ET Canada, Edge was asked if this is his last match.
He revealed that his first time ever match against Sheamus is his last match under his current WWE contract and then he will be a free agent. He added that wrestling right now isn’t as easy for him as it was when he was younger, and it’s getting harder for him as he approaches the age of 50.
One of Edge’s friends and former rivals, Matt Hardy, reacted to Edge possibly leaving WWE on Twitter.
He posted a picture of himself with Jeff Hardy, Edge and Christian Cage and captioned it:

Edge joining AEW seems like a possibility with the company’s biggest event, All In, coming up next week.
In addition, the WWE Hall Of Famer has a lot of friends there including The Hardy Boyz, Christian Cage and FTR.
Back in March this year, AEW World Tag Team Champion Dax Harwood stated in an interview with Fightful that Edge and Christian Cage vs. FTR is more of a possibility than people think.
