On this day in 1991, the World Wrestling Federation aired an episode of their weekly TV show ‘WWF Wrestling Challenge’.

This episode was pre-taped at the Civic Center in Savannah, Georgia and featured matches, promos & storyline segments on the road to the ‘WWF WrestleMania VII’ PPV.

• Matt Hardy Written Off WWE TV Without His Scheduled Match

Matt Hardy was scheduled to face Randy Orton in a No Holds Barred match on tonight’s RAW, but that didn’t happen.

Hardy noted that doctors haven’t cleared him to compete after last week’s attack.

Orton then came out and destroyed Hardy with a vicious Steel Chair assault and it looks like Hardy has been written off WWE programming.

• MVP Loses On RAW

MVP wrestled a match on tonight’s RAW and lost to Drew McIntyre.

As we noted earlier today, MVP confirmed during Booker T’s podcast that he has signed with WWE to become a Backstage Producer.
