• On This Day In Pro Wrestling History (February 16, 2017) – Attitude Era Diva Passed Away

On this day in 2017, we lost Old School WWF Attitude Era Diva Nicole Bass at the age of 52 after a stroke.

Bass previously worked for Paul Heyman’s ECW in 1998, before joining the World Wrestling Federation in 1999.

She debuted at WrestleMania XV when she attacked Tori and helped Sable to retain the WWF Women’s Championship, but unfortunately her run with the WWF only lasted a couple of months, before she left and filed a lawsuit against them, claiming that she was $exually harassed by “The Brooklyn Brawler” Steve Lombardi. The case was dismissed in 2003.

• Matt Hardy’s Backstage Reaction To Edge Coming Out Of Retirement

As seen on last week’s RAW, Matt Hardy confronted Randy Orton for attacking Edge a few weeks back.

According to Tom Colohue, Matt & Edge don’t have any heat between them over the Lita incident from years ago and Matt is genuinely happy for Edge’s comeback:

“He and Edge have really reconciled. Matt Hardy was incredibly happy to see Edge back in the ring. I’ve met the man, I doubt he remembers it as it was quite a long time ago and he bears Edge no ill will.

All of that has happened a very long-time ago for most of it. He was always very keen for Edge, if he did return to be able to go out on his own terms, which is something he referenced as well in the promo and he wants to be able to work on his own terms as well.”

Hardy will face Orton in a No Holds Barred match on RAW now.
