Below are some top news stories of the day, involving Matt Riddle.

• In 2021 & 2022, Randy Orton & Matt Riddle (together known as RK-BRO) were one of the most popular tag teams in WWE.

WWE had big plans for this duo, but some of those plans got canceled due to Orton being out of action with a major back injury and Riddle’s eventual release from the company.

During a virtual signing with Signed By Superstars, Riddle revealed that RK-BRO was supposed to break up with a heel turn, but he didn’t reveal who was going to turn heel, as he still hopes to complete this story one day by returning to WWE.

Here’s what the former RAW Tag Team Champion said:

“I don’t wanna really say how, because if I do return and then we do the story — yeah, I would say all teams eventually turn on each other. I don’t wanna give the spoiler of who was gonna turn on who.”

• At NJPW New Beginning in Sapporo (Night 1) on February 23rd, former WWE Superstars Dolph Ziggler (aka Nic Nemeth) and Matt Riddle will have their debut matches in New Japan Pro Wrestling.

Ziggler will face David Finlay for the IWGP Global Heavyweight Championship.

Riddle will face Hiroshi Tanahashi for the NJPW TV Championship.
