SmackDown Live commentator Mauro Ranallo missed SmackDown Live for two weeks straight and didn’t make any tweet or gave an update regarding what’s going on with him.
The only information that was available was that he missed last week’s SmackDown Live due to bad weather and missed this week’s show because he was sick.
There was speculation going on that his absence had to do something with his depression issues (which he’s dealing with since his teenage years).
Mauro has finally made a tweet regarding his status and tweeted the following:
“I’m deeply touched by your tweets of support. My doctor wants me to stay off social media for now but I wanted to thank you.”
No word yet on if he’s expected to return in time for WrestleMania 33.
