• Maxxine Dupri Will Marry Her WWE Fiancé On December 31
Women’s Intercontinental Champion Maxxine Dupri has confirmed she will marry her long-time partner, WWE LFG talent Anthony Luke, on December 31st in Naples, Florida.
Dupri and Luke have been a couple since 2018 and announced their engagement in December 2024.
During her interview with The Wrestling Classic, Dupri also revealed she plans to bring her Intercontinental Title to the wedding.
Maxxine is scheduled to defend her championship against Becky Lynch in a rematch on next week’s episode of RAW, which will be the one-year Netflix anniversary show.
• Good News For Dominik Mysterio
There is new clarity on the injury status of WWE Intercontinental & AAA Mega Champion Dominik Mysterio, and the outlook appears favorable.
Mysterio has been sidelined since suffering a shoulder injury during the main event of AAA Guerra de Titanes on December 20. An update on his condition was shared by Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio.
According to Meltzer, Mysterio has been informed that surgery will not be necessary. Doctors have reportedly given him a recovery estimate of roughly 3 to 4 weeks, putting him on track to return in time for Royal Rumble 2026 in Saudi Arabia on January 31st.
Meltzer noted that avoiding surgery was a significant relief, as a surgical route would have required a much longer absence and potentially forced Mysterio to vacate his championships. Instead, the current expectation is that the injury is short-term, with the timeline still subject to change.
On last night’s RAW, Joe Tessitore said Mysterio will be out of action indefinitely due to the shoulder injury. In a backstage segment, Liv Morgan also mentioned that Dirty Dom was taking time away to recover.

On last night’s RAW, Stephanie Vaquer defeated Nikki Bella and Raquel Rodriguez in a triple threat match to retain the Women’s World Championship.
During the match, Nikki locked in the STF on Raquel, which led to fans chanting “Thank You Cena.” Nikki replied: “No, Thank me!”

• TNA Hall Of Famer Had To Decline WWE Return Offer
Former WWE Women’s Champion and TNA Hall of Famer Gail Kim did a Q&A on X. A fan asked her if she’ll return to WWE. She replied: “I had to decline the offer unfortunately…. Sucks but had to.” Gail didn’t elaborate on why she had to decline the WWE return offer.
Another fan asked: “Would you come out of retirement for one more match against Mercedes Mone? I always thought she was a modern version of you.”
Gail replied: “No one is doing good storytelling these days. For me to train for match cardio, that is a dedication. I wouldn’t do it for a throw away match.”
Kim’s last match in TNA took place in 2023 on the 1,000th episode of iMPACT. Her last match in WWE took place in 2011.
