• Mercedes Moné Charging $25,000 For Indy Appearances
Mercedes Moné is one of the biggest female stars in professional wrestling today. She has quickly become one of the top attractions in AEW’s Women’s division and also remains one of the most popular names on the independent wrestling circuit.
Since her departure from WWE, The CEO has competed across multiple promotions and currently holds a record number of 12 championship belts worldwide.
According to the Wrestling Observer, one independent promoter who reached out to book Mercedes Moné was quoted a fee of $25,000 per appearance. However, the report also noted that her rate may differ depending on the promotion, and that the higher price is likely quoted to promotions she isn’t particularly interested in working with.
AEW President Tony Khan recently claimed that Moné does not make much money outside of his promotion.
Mercedes tweeted the following today: “Moné chases value.”
• WWE Higher-Ups “Very Unhappy” About AI Plans Leaking
WWE has started the process of integrating artificial intelligence into its operations. The company recently hired Cyrus Kowsari as Senior Director of Creative Strategy to explore how AI can be used in creative and production areas.
According to the Wrestling Observer, despite management’s assurances that no employees will be replaced, there is still unease among people within the company. Some fear that even if AI only reduces the need for entry-level writing positions, it could still mean fewer opportunities for new writers to be trained.
This concern has been amplified by a lack of trust within the company, as many staff members still feel misled over how WWE handled Seth Rollins’ fake injury storyline earlier this year.
It was also noted that several higher-ups were very unhappy about how news of the company’s AI testing was leaked, as it created unnecessary panic and speculation about job security.
As of now, AI is expected to be used only as a writer’s assistant, with plans to gradually expand its role into creative, video, graphics and storytelling departments.
WWE used AI to produce the segment of Broken Matt Hardy and Brother Nero on this week’s NXT.
• WWE Prepones Survivor Series 2025 Match
Jacob Fatu set his sights on Cody Rhodes’ Undisputed WWE Championship just a few weeks after returning to SmackDown to pick a fight with Drew McIntyre.
As noted before, WWE was planning a #1 Contender’s Match for the title between Drew McIntyre and Jacob Fatu at the upcoming Saturday Night’s Main Event in Salt Lake City, Utah. However, plans changed as Fatu is not medically cleared to compete after undergoing a dental procedure.
According to the Wrestling Observer, WWE was planning to have Cody Rhodes vs. Drew McIntyre at Survivor Series: WarGames on November 29th. The match was later moved to Saturday Night’s Main Event on November 1st due to Fatu’s injury.
Drew McIntyre lost to Cody Rhodes at Wrestlepalooza and their latest encounter on SmackDown ended with McIntyre winning via Disqualification after Rhodes hit him with the WWE Title.
• Return Date For AJ Lee
AJ Lee made her long-awaited WWE return last month after more than a decade away from the company. The former Divas Champion signed a full-time contract and made her in-ring comeback at Wrestlepalooza, teaming up with her husband, CM Punk, to defeat Seth Rollins and Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch in a Mixed Tag Team Match.
Since Wrestlepalooza, AJ has not appeared on WWE television as she is currently on a book tour.
She is expected back soon as Netflix is advertising AJ for the November 17th episode of RAW at Madison Square Garden in New York, where John Cena is also advertised to appear (and that will be Cena’s final RAW appearance).

AJ Lee recently teased going after the Women’s Intercontinental Championship, so a return just weeks before Survivor Series: WarGames could mean that she will challenge Becky Lynch for the title at the final Premium Live Event of the year.
• Reason Behind Bron Breakker Being Removed From The World Title Scene On RAW
It was revealed that Seth Rollins has vacated the World Heavyweight Championship on this week’s episode of RAW after The Visionary suffered a shoulder injury in his match against Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes at Crown Jewel.
Following Crown Jewel, Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed and Paul Heyman betrayed Rollins, with Breakker making it clear that he had his sights set on the World Heavyweight Title.
Many fans expected the 28-year-old to compete in the #1 Contender’s Battle Royal, which would determine who faces CM Punk at Saturday Night’s Main Event to crown a new World Heavyweight Champion, but he was pulled from the match.
According to the Wrestling Observer, Bron Breakker is still planned to become World Heavyweight Champion, but WWE decided that Saturday Night’s Main Event isn’t the right time or place for such a huge moment.
The company reportedly has a specific plan for how and when to execute his title win, and since the show is a Peacock exclusive with limited viewership, it was considered not the ideal moment for such a major change.
Jey Uso and CM Punk will battle in Salt Lake City next week on November 1st for the vacant World Heavyweight Title.
• WWE’s New Plan For WarGames After Seth Rollins’ Injury
WWE Survivor Series 2025 will take place at Petco Park in San Diego, California on Saturday, November 29. The main event of this PLE will once again be the Men’s WarGames Match.
Earlier this month, the Wrestling Observer reported that the following Men’s WarGames match was the plan:
Roman Reigns, CM Punk, Jey Uso, Jacob Fatu, and a 5th member (LA Knight OR Jimmy Uso) vs. Brock Lesnar, Seth Rollins, Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, and Austin Theory
Due to Seth Rollins’ injury, plans have changed, but not much.
In an update from the Observer, the WarGames match will feature a team led by Roman Reigns and CM Punk to take on a team led by The Vision’s Bron Breakker and “Big” Bronson Reed.
