At today’s RevPro Uprising show in Cardiff, Wales, Mercedes Moné defeated Rhio to retain four championships, including the RevPro Undisputed British Women’s Championship, which also encompasses SWE’s Queen of Southside title, along with the Discovery Wrestling and EWA Women’s Championships.

During the match, Moné performed a “You Can’t See Me” taunt as a tribute to John Cena, who retired this weekend. She also took to X to make a bold claim about her legacy.

“I am the greatest wrestler to come out of Massachusetts! 🤑 #ByeBye #RevProUprising,” she wrote, referencing her home state, which is also the home state of John Cena.

Moné didn’t stop there, declaring herself the best champion in professional wrestling today.

“SHE duuurrrrcent dur dur deFeND her TITLES! SHUT UP! You stupid dumb marks! I just put four of my titles on the line and still WON! I AM THE GREATEST CHAMPION in ALL OF PRO WRESTLING! #RevProUprising,” she tweeted.

Earlier this week, The CEO stirred controversy when she appeared to ignore a fan asking about her thoughts on Cena’s retirement.

However, a video later surfaced showing her giving a shout out to The GOAT during her TikTok live stream.

The final Saturday Night’s Main Event of 2025 delivered one of the most shocking moments in pro wrestling history. John Cena, the man who for decades preached “never give up,” was forced to tap out to GUNTHER’s punishing Sleeper Hold, leaving the live crowd and fans worldwide stunned.

The ending sparked a furious reaction from WWE fans at the Capital One Arena in Washington D.C, who directed chants at Chief Content Officer Triple H, including “We want Vince”, “You f—ed up”, “Baldie”, “We don’t care”, “LA Knight”, “AEW”, “F— you Baldie”, “F— Triple H” and “You f—ed up.”

The backlash continued online, with one fan wishing death on The Game. He tweeted:

“That n**** Triple H should’ve died as a baby.”

Another fan replied to him and claimed that the shocking finish led to his grandmother being hospitalized due to a heart attack.

“MY GRANDMA DEAD$$ HAD A HEART ATTACK BC CENA LOST TRIPLE H SHOULD BE SUED.”

He also shared a photo of an ambulance in the replies.

On the post show of Saturday Night’s Main Event, Triple H stated that he did what’s best for the company and fans will understand it soon. The Game reportedly had a smile on his face backstage when Cena submitted to GUNTHER.

John Cena’s retirement tour saw him being the runner-up in the Men’s Royal Rumble match, turning heel to align with The Rock, winning the Undisputed WWE Championship, main eventing WrestleMania and SummerSlam, and becoming a Grand Slam Champion.

He officially retired at Saturday Night’s Main Event at the Capital One Arena in Washington D.C. after tapping out to GUNTHER’s Sleeper Hold. Cena made the following social media post after retiring:

According to Fightful Select, John Cena will be making future WWE appearances, both off and on screen. There’s no word yet on what the extent of his on-screen appearances will be. Cena has previously noted in interviews that he will retire the jorts as well.

Cena recently revealed that he has signed a 5-year ambassador contract with WWE.
