In the co-main event of tonight’s UFC 309 PPV at Madison Square Garden, Charles Oliveira defeated Michael Chandler via unanimous decision in their 5-round Lightweight fight.
This was Chandler’s first fight in two years. Oliveira dominated the first 4 rounds, but Chandler almost finished him in the last round. Everyone gave them a standing ovation after the fight, including US President Donald Trump, who congratulated Chandler on the performance.
In the post-fight interview, Chandler called out BMF Champion Max Holloway and Conor McGregor. Chandler told McGregor to get his house in order and beat him if he can.
In the main event, Jon Jones defeated Stipe Miocic to retain the UFC Heavyweight Championship and remain undefeated.

In the post-fight interview, Jones said he has decided that he will not retire and maybe the fans will get what they want (hinting at a fight with Interim UFC Heavyweight Champion Tom Aspinall, who was in attendance).
Miocic, however, announced his retirement after the loss.
WWE’s Chief Content Officer Triple H was in attendance for the event, where he reunited with fellow WWE Hall of Famer Donald Trump. You can watch it below:
