• Mick Foley Ready For One More Match?

During a recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer said that WWE Hall Of Famer Mick Foley is willing to wrestle another match, as long as it’s a cinematic match, similar to The Undertaker – AJ Styles & John Cena – Bray Wyatt matches at WrestleMania 36.

Here’s what Meltzer had to say:

“You know Mick Foley said he would do a cinematic match? There was a comedy show and someone in the crowd asked for one more match, and he said, ‘I could do a cinematic match.’ That was just a couple of hours ago at the show.”

Mick Foley retired from in-ring competition in 2012 after he entered the annual Royal Rumble match that year.

• Old School WWF Legend Would Have Celebrated His Birthday

Today would have been the 55th birthday of Old School WWF Legend Yokozuna (Real name: Rodney Anoai).

WWF New Generation Era Legend Yokozuna was a former 2-time World Wrestling Federation Champion after defeating Bret “The Hitman” Hart (WrestleMania IX) and “The Immortal” Hulk Hogan (King of the Ring 1993) for the Title.

His last WWF match came at Survivor Series 1996, where teamed up with Flash Funk, “Superfly” Jimmy Snuka & Savio Vega in a traditional Survivor Series elimination match that ended in a double DQ, thus ending a successful 4 year run with the WWF.

In 2012, Yokozuna was posthumously inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame by his cousin Rikishi (Headshrinker Fatu) and Rikishi’s sons The Usos.
