On this day in 1983, the World Wrestling Federation aired an episode of their weekly TV show ‘WWF Championship Wrestling’.
This episode was pre-taped at the Agricultural Hall in Allentown, Pennsylvania and featured matches, interviews & storyline segments involving the 1983 WWF Superstars.

• Mike & Maria Kanellis Reportedly “Misled” WWE
During a recent edition of Busted Open Radio, WWE Hall of Famer Bubba Ray Dudley noted that Mike & Maria Kanellis might have “misled” WWE while signing their new contracts:
“I heard rumors, and not internet rumors and dirt sheet rumors. I’ve heard talk of some scuttlebutt amongst the boys that Mike and Maria might have misled the WWE when their new contracts were signed.
I don’t know this for a fact but I’m saying maybe the WWE didn’t want to release them because I want to keep them [and get] their money’s worth out of them.”
Mike recently asked for his release after signing a 5 year, $250,000 per year deal. He hasn’t been granted his release yet.

• Another Title Match Added To TLC 2019
On tonight’s episode of WWE Backstage, it was revealed that The Viking Raiders will issue another open challenge for the RAW Tag Team Titles at TLC 2019 this Sunday.
