In the main event of this week’s AEW Dynamite, Brody King defeated AEW World Champion MJF in a title eliminator match in just 77 seconds.
With this win, King earned an AEW World Title match against MJF in the main event of AEW Grand Slam Australia.

After the match, Andrade El Idolo attacked Brody and MJF. Hangman Page came out and took out Andrade with a Buckshot Lariat. Hangman was going for one on MJF as well, but MJF countered with a low blow. Brody laid out MJF again and posed with the AEW World Title to end the show.

Prior to the match, MJF tweeted the following:
“People think I’m scared?!?!?
LOL. The only thing that scares me is how long I’m gonna hold this championship!!! I’m gonna have to retire before I lose it!!!!!

After the match, Brody replied: “2 minutes huh?”

– Tommaso Ciampa celebrated his TNT Championship victory and named his newly won title “Silvey.” Ciampa said he will be a fighting champion and announced that he will put the title on the line against Claudio Castagnoli and Roderick Strong in a triple threat match on Collision.
