Below are some top news stories of the day, involving MJF and CM Punk.

• In a strategic move to enhance their interviewers’ team, AEW has welcomed Alicia Atout as its newest member. This follows a series of recent changes, including the release of Dasha Kuret in April and the addition of a new backstage interviewer, Arkady Aura, who made her debut earlier this year.

Alicia Atout is no stranger to AEW fans. She made her first appearance at the inaugural Double or Nothing PPV in 2019, having previously worked at the original All In event in 2018. Her experience and dynamic presence also saw her thrive in Major League Wrestling (MLW) as an interviewer and host until her departure from the promotion in March of last year.

Atout’s debut interview for AEW came during a social media exclusive segment on Dynamite, where she spoke with ROH World Champion Mark Briscoe following his qualification for the TNT Title ladder match set to take place at Forbidden Door.

Alicia, who is dating AEW main eventer MJF, wrote the following about her signing on Instagram:

“Cat’s out of the bag. I’m beyond excited to officially announce I’m ALL ELITE. See you every Wednesday, babyyyyy.”

• In his home country of Scotland, Drew McIntyre will face Damian Priest for the World Heavyweight Championship in the main event of the Clash At The Castle 2024 premium live event on June 15.

During an interview with Cultaholic, McIntyre was asked what would happen if CM Punk decided to interfere in this match.

Here’s what McIntyre said:

“I think it would be a mistake for a number of reasons after what happened last time at Clash, I really do not want something like that to happen again to the UK.

This is Glasgow… this is Scotland, this is different. I would strongly suggest not getting involved or doing anything to rock the boat during this show as there’s a genuine chance you’ll get jumped. I’m not even joking. And there’s a genuine chance the security guards won’t stop them because they’re Scottish as well.

I’m telling you, there’s a good chance you’ll get jumped and security will help jump you if you get involved in my match.”
