• More Bad News For Kevin Owens’ Fans

Kevin Owens is facing a lengthy time away from WWE as he prepares to undergo neck surgery, which will rule him out of in-ring action for the foreseeable future—including next year’s WrestleMania 42 as well.

Initial reports had suggested that Owens already had surgery on April 7th, but according to Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp, that is not the case. Sapp confirmed that Owens’ surgery “actually hasn’t taken place yet.”

The timeline for Owens’ recovery remains unclear, but sources within WWE are not optimistic about a quick return. “Those that we spoke to in WWE aren’t expecting him back in 2025,” Sapp reported, noting that “it’s quite possible he misses next year’s WrestleMania.”

While this isn’t an official medical timeline, Fightful made it clear that this is the prevailing belief within the company based on the severity of the injury and the expected recovery process.

• Becky Lynch Reveals Her WrestleMania 41 Status

As WrestleMania 41 approaches, Becky Lynch has directly addressed growing speculation surrounding her wrestling future and potential return to WWE. The former Women’s Champion stepped away from in-ring action following the expiration of her WWE contract in June 2024, sparking widespread curiosity about whether a comeback was on the horizon.

Reports circulated earlier this year suggesting that Lynch had re-signed with WWE as of January. With WrestleMania 41 set for next weekend, fans began to theorize that she might make a surprise appearance at the two-night event. However, Lynch herself has offered some clarity.

During her appearance as Guest Monologist at last night’s Ultimate Improv Show, Lynch addressed the rumors in a light-hearted but firm way:

“It’s WrestleMania season, isn’t it? Look, I’m not wrestling anymore. Maybe one day, but not right now. But my husband is!”

Lynch’s husband, Seth Rollins, is set to compete in the main event of WrestleMania 41 – Night 1, taking on CM Punk and Roman Reigns in a triple threat match.

Interestingly, Rollins had previously commented on Lynch’s possible return during an interview in March. At the time, he seemed optimistic about her wrestling future, stating he believes Lynch is gearing up to get ready to come back.
