As we noted before, current NXT Women’s Champion Sasha Banks and former champion Charlotte are scheduled to be a part of the current divas storyline on the main roster involving Paige and Team Bella.
There were talks of Sasha Banks & Charlotte being on last week’s WWE Raw and tomorrow night’s Raw, but plans can change, just like last week when they didn’t appear.
During an edition of the Wrestling Observer Radio, it was noted that WWE officials gave a memo to the NXT staff where they stated the names of wrestlers which they won’t be using in the upcoming storylines and Charlotte & Sasha Banks were on that list.
In a related news, it was recently announced that Finn Balor will defend the NXT Title against former champion Kevin Owens at NXT Takeover: Brooklyn. One of the main reasons behind this match being booked is going head to head with Ring of Honor. Also, officials thought that match would be a bigger draw than Finn Balor vs. Samoa Joe.
