• Old School WWF Legend Would Have Celebrated His Birthday
Today would have been the 85th birthday of Old School WWF Legend “Captain” Lou Albano.
No other manager in World Wrestling Federation / World Wrestling Entertainment history had ever managed more Tag Team Champions, than Captain Lou did.
He still holds that record and it doesn’t look like anyone will ever break it.

• More Updates Regarding WWE Evolution PPV – Legends That Are Expected To Wrestle At The Event
WWE announced the first ever Women’s pay-per-view event, “WWE Evolution” this past Monday on RAW. Over 50 women will be appearing on the star studded show. Many legends will also be returning for it. Many people will just show up so they can be on camera. Expect a big main event as well.
Bryan Alvarez expanded a bit on what fans could possibly expect from the Evolution pay-per-view during Wrestling Observer Live.
According to current plans, female wrestlers from today’s generation and the previous generation will a part of the show. A handful of female talent from NXT will appear on the show. WWE already confirmed that the NXT Women’s Championship will be defended at the event. Legends like Trish Stratus and Lita have high chances of competing at the show.
WWE plans to have about 8 matches at the event. As we previously reported, a huge battle royal is also being planned to accommodate the amount of talent promised to appear on the show. It might be named after a female wrestling legend.
The show will run for 3 hours with different kind of matches like singles and multi-woman matches taking place.
