3. Original Plan For Mae Young Classic Finale Revealed, Vince McMahon On What Will Happen To WWE After He Passes Away

– As we saw after this week’s SmackDown Live on the WWE Network, Kairi Sane defeated Shayna Baszler in the Mae Young Classic finale to win the inaugural tournament and earn a NXT Women’s Championship match at NXT TakeOver: Houston.

According to the Wrestling Observer, the original plan was for Kairi Sane to defeat Toni Storm in the finals of the tournament. However, WWE then decided to do the WWE 4 Horsewomen vs. MMA 4 Horsewomen angle and this led to Shayna replacing Toni. It should be noted that WWE ended up saving a major angle between the two groups on the night of the finale for a future date and made that night completely about Kairi Sane.

– During a recent interview with Garry, Tim, and Hamish, WWE Hall of Famer and current Raw General Manager Kurt Angle revealed what Vince McMahon told him when the CEO of WWE was asked what will happen to his company after he passes away. Below is what Angle said:
