• Multiple Men Want The Intercontinental Title At WrestleMania 39
On tonight’s episode of SmackDown, Drew McIntyre called out Intercontinental Champion Gunther for WrestleMania 39.
Sheamus came out and he’s angry about this. Sheamus said this is personal and Drew knows how much he wants the IC Title. Sheamus said Drew went behind his back.
McIntyre said he doesn’t need Sheamus’ permission. Sheamus said Drew is just a backstabbing bastard. Drew then said Sheamus had his opportunity and he lost, twice.
LA Knight came out next and he gets a big pop. Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods are out now as well. Kofi talked about how LA wants a match at WrestleMania, but can’t even win a match on SmackDown.
Karrion Kross and Scarlett came out next. A brawl broke out in the ring. Kross was the only man left standing in the end.
On next week’s SmackDown, the following Fatal 5 Way Intercontinental Championship Qualifying Match will take place:
Kofi Kingston vs. Sheamus vs. Drew McIntyre vs. LA Knight vs. Karrion Kross
