At Friday’s IMPACT Wrestling TV tapings, former WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Naomi made her debut in the company under her real name “Trinity Fatu”.

She cut a promo and shared the ring with IMPACT Knockouts World Champion Deonna Purrazzo. This promo will air on this Thursday’s show.

At last night’s TV tapings, Trinity faced KiLynn King, who is the current IMPACT Knockouts World Tag Team Champion along with Taylor Wilde (together known as The Coven).

Trinity won her debut match in the company via submission. You can watch it below:

During an interview with NBC Chicago, Trinity talked about leaving WWE and joining IMPACT.

Below is what she said:

“It took a little time to just process everything and really sort out what I want to do, where I want to be.

I feel like it was a blessing in disguise. I feel that it’s allowed me to grow and become better in every way, in every aspect. Show me how strong I really am.

And now I’ve got this new journey ahead of me, these new goals, and I’m excited and ready to step into this new chapter.”

Trinity also said that she believes IMPACT has the best women’s division in pro-wrestling today.
