• Naomi’s Former WWE Tag Team Partner Says Someone Manipulated Her To Walk Out Of RAW
WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Sasha Banks & Naomi walked out of RAW because of Hell In A Cell 2022 plans.
WWE wanted to book Bianca Belair vs. Naomi for the RAW Women’s Championship and Ronda Rousey vs. Sasha Banks for the SmackDown Women’s Championship at Hell In A Cell, with both Naomi & Sasha losing their matches.
Sasha wasn’t happy that WWE wasn’t concentrating on their Tag Team Titles and walked out.
During an interview with SEScoops, former WWE Diva Cameron (Naomi’s former Tag Team partner) addressed this situation and said the following:
“My girl Naomi, she wouldn’t do this and I feel like she wouldn’t do this unless she had someone manipulating and telling her how to do this. Let’s best believe if I was here, coming as a Funkadactyl we wouldn’t have this happening at all.
Again, Sasha is Sasha. You have Snoop Dogg as your cousin. You’re a top athlete, you can do whatever the f**k you wanna do. You can literally say what you wanna say, do what you wanna do with no repercussion. And if you’re a star athlete, I feel like she can back it up.
The one thing that she can do is she can back it up. It’s not like, ‘oh she can have all these people who can back her up without having the talent to do so or the beauty.’”

• On This Day In Pro Wrestling History (May 18, 2002) – Old School WWF Legend Passed Away
On this day in 2002, we lost Old School WWF Legend “The British Bulldog” Davey Boy Smith (Real name: David Smith) at the young age of 39.
Davey Boy died after suffering a heart attack, most likely a result of his pain killer addiction, which was caused by the WCW Fall Brawl 1998 incident, when they had a trap door under the ring canvas to enable The Ultimate Warrior suddenly showing up in the ring during the main event, but the WCW officials forgot to tell Davey not to bump on that side of the ring, so he did and got hurt.
He became a legend while wrestling for the World Wrestling Federation from 1985 to 1992, from 1994 to 1997 and again from 1999 to 2000.
Smith was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2021, with his ex-wife Diana and his kids Harry & Georgia accepting the award on his behalf.
