Below are a couple of top WWE & AEW news stories of the day, featuring The Rock and Malakai Black.
• According to PWInsider, WWE’s Monday Night RAW Netflix premiere has been updated with a label stating it is “Edited from a live broadcast”.
The changes include censoring all instances of swearing by The Rock, both in the audio and the closed captions.
Initially, the original, unedited broadcast was available on-demand but has now been replaced with this edited version.

• Malakai Black’s future with AEW is uncertain, as speculation grows following events on AEW Dynamite.
During the show, Will Ospreay’s post-match comments about Buddy Matthews stepping out of Black’s shadow fueled questions about Black’s status in the company.
Reports from Fightful Select indicate that Black may be finishing up with AEW, with some sources believing he has already left.
The Wrestling Observer added that while rumors of Black’s departure are circulating, AEW has neither confirmed nor denied them:
“The rumor backstage is that he’s gone. I did not get that confirmed, but I will say this, I did not get it denied. It was basically ignored.”
Adding to the speculation, Fightful Select later claimed that “Malakai Black is not expected back in AEW.” This aligns with Black’s scheduled appearance at Coastal Championship Wrestling’s Havoc & Haze 9 event on January 11, where he’s billed as an “All Elite Wrestling star,” despite indications that his AEW tenure might be over.
