• New #1 Contender For The Universal Title Crowned On Tonight’s SmackDown

In the main event of tonight’s SmackDown, a Black Friday Battle Royal to crown the new #1 contender for the WWE Universal Championship took place.

The following men competed in the match:

– Jeff Hardy

– Sheamus

– Cesaro

– Ricochet

– Sami Zayn

– Erik

– Ivar

– Mansoor

– MACE

– Drew Gulak

– Angel

– Humberto Carrillo

– Jinder Mahal

– Shanky

– Rick Boogs

– Ridge Holland

– Happy Corbin

– Madcap Moss

Drew McIntyre, who teamed up with Jeff Hardy to defeat the team of Happy Corbin & Madcap Moss earlier in the night, approached Adam Pearce & Sonya Deville backstage and told them he wants to be in the Battle Royal.

However, Drew wasn’t put in the match. Before the match began, an angry Drew entered the ring with his sword and swung it at everyone. All the wrestlers exited the ring in fear.

Pearce then came out and told Drew to leave.

During the ending moments of the match, Jeff Hardy eliminated Happy Corbin to win the match.

Jeff got on the middle rope to celebrate. This led to Sami Zayn appearing out of nowhere and throwing Hardy out of the ring to win the match.

Zayn was never eliminated and he is the new #1 contender for the Universal Championship. The Bloodline was watching backstage and they all were laughing at Jeff losing.

Kayla Braxton then entered the ring to interview Sami, but received breaking news that Brock Lesnar’s suspension has been lifted and he will appear on next week’s SmackDown.

After hearing this news, The Bloodline stopped laughing, and Adam Pearce was also seen in distress.
