• At tonight’s AEW Full Gear 2025 PPV, FTR defeated Brodido (Brody King and ROH World Champion Bandido) to win the AEW World Tag Team Championship.
Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler are 3-time AEW World Tag Team Champions now, and overall 11-time Tag Team Champions.
• According to Fightful Select, MJF is expected to return to AEW programming within the next month.
MJF is scheduled to work WrestleCade next weekend. He typically doesn’t do indy appearances when he’s on a hiatus from wrestling. This could mean that his return is very near. He finished filming “Violent Night 2” recently. MJF reportedly enjoyed acting during his hiatus.
He last appeared on AEW programming at the All Out pay-per-view in September, where he lost a Tables and Thumbtacks match to Mark Briscoe. He was written off TV after a promo aired in which he said he wouldn’t return until he’s recognized as one of the most dangerous men in pro wrestling, and when he does, he’ll claim his place at the top on his own terms.
Another former AEW World Champion that is supposed to return within the next month is Swerve Strickland. He was originally scheduled to take time off after All In: Texas, but it got postponed.
Strickland was last seen on AEW programming at Forbidden Door 2025, where he lost to Kazuchika Okada in an AEW Unified Championship match. He took time off to heal a torn meniscus.

– Tony Schiavone confirmed that “Hangman” Adam Page vs. Samoa Joe in a Steel Cage match for the AEW World Championship will main event the show.
– Samoa Joe showed The Opps’ dojo.
– Boom & Doom defeated RPG Vice with some help from the returning Paul Wight (WWE Legend The Big Show), who was on commentary.
