The New Day are expected to lose their WWE Tag Team Titles soon, but not before reaching a big milestone.
The New Day will equal the record of the longest WWE Tag Team Title reign on the July 19th Live Edition of SmackDown, and they will become the longest reigning WWE Tag Team Champions by the time Battleground 2016 arrives.
The Tag Team Title reign of The New Day is scheduled to end, either at Battleground 2016 or at SummerSlam 2016.
Speaking of The New Day, they will go to The Wyatt Family’s compound. Below is what WWE posted regarding this:
“The Wyatt Family laid down an unorthodox challenge to The New Day last week, inviting the WWE Tag Team Champions to visit their compound and test the true Power of Positivity. Big E and Kofi Kingston were all for it, but Xavier Woods was notably subdued and wary of the consequences.
Woods has confirmed that he’ll accompany his boys to the creepy clan’s home turf, but whether The New Day will withstand encounter with the First Family of Fear remains to be seen.”
