Below are the complete results from tonight’s SmackDown:
– Jey Uso and Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns kicked off tonight’s SmackDown.
A major change has been made to Roman’s presentation, as he doesn’t have 3 Titles anymore. Paul Heyman is no longer carrying the old WWE Championship and Universal Championship with him.
Roman Reigns said the fans like The Usos because of him. Roman said people call Jey – “Main Event” Jey Uso. That’s because of him. They call him “Right Hand Man” Jey Uso because of his Tribal Chief.
Jey said he has had Roman’s back for 3 years, no questions asked, because he believed in Roman. Jey said Roman broke his family and now he has to do what he has to do.
The Right Hand Man said:
“You broke this family. You broke The Bloodline. You broke Jimmy. It’s all your fault.”
Roman said the only reason Jey became the Right Hand Man is because Jimmy was hurt in 2020. If Jimmy wasn’t hurt, Jey wouldn’t have a chance. Roman said Jey screwed his twin brother.
Reigns said after he beats Jey, Jey is done. He’s not going to be a part of The Tribal Chief’s legacy anymore.
Roman said Jey can’t beat him, so he wants to know what’s going on in Jey’s mind about this upcoming Tribal Combat match at SummerSlam 2023.
Jey said:
“It’s because I already beat you.”
Jey said he has already pinned Roman before and at SummerSlam, he’s going to beat Roman again.
– Grayson Waller met Jey Uso backstage. Grayson said after Roman beats Jey at SummerSlam, Jey should appear on The Grayson Waller Effect to get the ‘Grayson Waller Rub’. Jey hit Grayson with an uppercut.
– Santos Escobar def. Rey Mysterio via Doctor’s Stoppage to become the #1 Contender for the United States Championship
The Commentators noted that Rey got hurt after he was hit with a Suicide Dive by Escobar. The doctor checked on Rey and the decision was made that the WWE Hall of Famer can’t continue.
Escobar showed respect to Mysterio after the match.
– Bianca Belair was getting interviewed backstage, when WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Chelsea Green & Sonya Deville interrupted her and mocked her for not being a champion anymore.
Charlotte Flair appeared and offered to team up with Bianca to take on the Tag Team Champions. Bianca refused. Charlotte then said this will be even more fun when she goes to Adam Pearce and gets this match booked despite Bianca not wanting to team up with her.
– Adam Pearce informed Jey Uso that he will face Grayson Waller in tonight’s main event.
– LA Knight mocked Hit Row’s rap and said B-Fab is horny for him.
– LA Knight def. Ashante “Thee” Adonis of Hit Row
– In a backstage segment, Bobby Lashley said The Street Profits are stars and they should dress like stars. Lashley then revealed a line of new Suits for Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins.
– Charlotte Flair & Bianca Belair def. WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Chelsea Green & Sonya Deville
Flair stole the pinfall victory from Belair, by tagging herself in and pinning Chelsea to pick up the win. Bianca wasn’t happy about this.
– Shotzi left a “See You Soon” card in Bayley’s bag. Bayley and Ms. Money In The Bank IYO SKY were about to leave, when WWE Women’s Champion Asuka interrupted them. IYO said it doesn’t matter who wins at SummerSlam, because she’s going to leave as the champion.
– Adam Pearce announced the SummerSlam Battle Royal. LA Knight said he should be in the match and Sheamus interrupted. Pearce booked Knight vs. Sheamus for next week’s SmackDown, with the winner entering the Battle Royal.
– Karrion Kross def. Karl Anderson
Kross’ new finisher is called “The Final Prayer”. Kross put Anderson in the Kross Jacket after the match, which led to AJ Styles and “Michin” Mia Yim running to the ring. Kross and Scarlett retreat.
– Jey Uso def. Grayson Waller
Roman Reigns, Solo Sikoa & Paul Heyman came out while the match was going on. Roman sat on a chair right in front of the ring.
During this match, Grayson mocked The Rock and did his own version of The People’s Elbow, and Roman laughed at it.

As soon as the match ended, Solo attacked Jey and went for the Samoan Spike, but Jey countered with a superkick.

Roman then tried to attack Jey, but Jey nailed a Spear. Jey was going for the Uso Splash on Roman, but Solo attacked Jey and delivered a Urinage. Roman and Solo then hit their double team finisher, the “Spear Spike”, on Jey two times in a row.

Reigns ended the show by posing with the Ula Fala and the Undisputed Title.
