Below are some top WWE news stories of the day, involving Stephanie McMahon and Cedric Alexander.
• After Vince McMahon returned to the Board and became the Chairman again in 2023, Stephanie McMahon stepped down from her co-CEO & Chairwoman position and announced her departure from WWE.
Reports suggested that Stephanie knew she was about to get demoted due to Vince’s return, so she decided to announce her departure, especially since she doesn’t need the money.
According to PWInsider, some people in WWE, who were big supporters of Stephaine’s work, are hoping that Vince’s resignation will open the door for Stephanie’s return to the company.

• A new tag team has been formed on SmackDown, consisting of Cedric Alexander and Ashante “Thee” Adonis.
In a video posted on WWE’s social media, they announced their alliance and declared their intent to challenge other teams on the roster, including Pretty Deadly, The Judgment Day, and The OC.
They suggested the name “Rags and Riches” for their team.
Both Alexander and Adonis have been underutilized since their previous factions dissolved, with Alexander previously part of The Hurt Business and Adonis formerly in Hit Row.
They are products of the NXT system and are considered to be favorites of Triple H. Alexander, in particular, gained attention after his performances in the Cruiserweight Classic.
