Below are a couple of top WWE news stories of the day, featuring RAW, Triple H and The Rock.

• Newest Member Of The RAW Roster Revealed

Roxanne Perez is now officially part of the RAW roster. WWE confirmed the news in a social media video before tonight’s RAW. The clip showed RAW General Manager Adam Pearce and Perez backstage as she signed her main roster contract. The segment also aired on the live broadcast.

“This is going to be the first day of many successful ones, I hope,” Pearce said as Perez signed the deal. Perez replied confidently, telling him, “You’re going to see exactly why people call me The Prodigy.”

Perez has already made several appearances on the main roster, including record-setting runs in the Royal Rumble—where she lasted longer than any woman in history—and the Elimination Chamber.

She is set to compete in a high-stakes Money In The Bank qualifier against Becky Lynch and Natalya tonight. Just last week, Perez teamed up with Giulia in the main event of RAW, but they were defeated by Women’s World Champion IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley.

Despite their tag team effort, Friday’s announcement confirmed Giulia has officially joined the SmackDown roster. A backstage segment that aired last Monday showed Giulia distancing herself from Perez, saying bluntly, “There is no we.”

Perez now moves forward as a solo competitor on RAW, ready to prove her place at the top of WWE’s women’s division.

• There Could Be Heat Between Triple H & The Rock, Says Current WWE Personality

Kevin Nash recently shared his thoughts on rumors of backstage issues between Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and WWE’s Chief Content Officer Triple H due to WrestleMania 41 creative plans, saying he doesn’t believe there’s much tension at all.

Speaking on his ‘Kliq This’ podcast, Nash said, “I don’t see the tension.” He pointed to The Rock’s busy schedule in Hollywood as a major reason why he wouldn’t be involved in internal WWE politics. “Does anybody know what IMDb is and then you go to their page and you see the projects he has? Dwayne is pretty busy,” Nash said.

Nash believes The Rock’s focus right now is on his own WWE storyline, not backstage power struggles. “You have to realize he still has skin in the game. He still has ring time left and he wants certain things to align a certain way for him,” he explained.

“Dwayne is not looking at what’s best for the company. He’s looking at what’s best for the (Final Boss) character,” Nash added.

However, 2-time WWE Hall of Famer and current NXT commentator Booker T believes there could be tension:

“You know what, man? It could be. Could be. I wouldn’t be surprised. Let me tell you right now, man, when you’re dealing in a testosterone-fueled business where you’re dealing with a bunch of men, you know, I’m sure there’s going to be some heat and some friction somewhere down the line.

When you got two guys like Triple H and The Rock. You got two alphas, man. I’m sure there’s going to be some head-butting here and there. So, hey, man, I wouldn’t be surprised. Let’s just say that.”
