In the opening match of Night 2 of AEW Fyter Fest, Chris Jericho defeated Shawn Spears.

After the match, MJF announced that Jericho must face the debuting Nick Gage in a No DQ Match next week at AEW Fight For The Fallen in the 2nd Labor of Jericho.

Gage tweeted the following about his AEW debut:
