Below are a couple of top WWE news stories of the day, featuring Travis Scott, The Rock, and Roman Reigns.
• Nick Khan Reveals Why The Rock Told Travis Scott To Slap The Sh*t Out Of Cody Rhodes
WWE President Nick Khan and Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque appeared at The Ankler’s Business of Entertainment program at NAB Show, where they discussed Travis Scott slapping Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes at Elimination Chamber 2025.
You can read their conversation below:
Nick: The Travis Scott – John Cena heel turn, what was that in terms of social media impressions?
HHH: It was a couple hundred million.
Nick: It was insane. Paul (Levesque) did tell Travis after, ‘Hey, that was a pretty hard slap. We’ll show you how to pull your punches a little bit,’ Travis said, ‘Dwayne Johnson told me you better slap the sh*t out of him or people are going to think you don’t have it.’ Paul chuckled and I chuckled. It was a pretty big moment for us.
HHH: It was incredible. Ironically, the only person that didn’t complain about the slap was Cody Rhodes. He just wanted it to look good. Travis was like a kid in a candy store on that thing. He’ll be at WrestleMania, a lot of people will be at WrestleMania.

• Top WWE Star Is Sick Of Hearing About The Rock vs. Roman Reigns
If Seth Rollins was given unlimited creative control in WWE for one night, he’d book The Rock vs. Roman Reigns.
Here’s what Rollins said on Outta Pocket with RGIII:
“I’m sick of everyone talking about it, I just want to get it out of the way. See how much you’ll love it when you see it.”
Seth has a history with both competitors. At WrestleMania 40, he teamed up with Cody Rhodes to face The Rock and Reigns.
This isn’t the first time Rollins has hinted at a future behind the scenes. In February, he revealed he’s in the “early stages of conversations” with WWE about a potential executive or creative role post-retirement.
