In a recent interview with PEOPLE, Nikki Bella opened up about stepping back into the WWE spotlight on RAW, how it felt to return after time away, and what fans can expect going forward. Nikki admitted she was nervous before making her appearance. “I was of course really nervous because it’s been so long, but it was crazy,” she said. “And everyone kept telling me, they’d go, ‘Nikki, the minute you walk in that arena, you’re going to feel at home, and it’s all going to come back,’ and it was so true.”
The response from the crowd and people close to her helped ease those nerves. “It felt so good,” Bella shared. “I can’t tell you how many text messages I’ve gotten today, like, ‘Girl, it was like you were just right back in it. You could tell that’s your happy place.’” She added that the support came from all sides—friends, family, and coworkers—who all told her how natural and happy she looked in the ring again.
As for how long she’ll be around, Nikki made it clear this isn’t just a one-off return. “You’ll definitely see me for a bit. It’s not a quick in and out,” she said.
The RAW segment also included a moment where Liv Morgan referenced Bella’s divorce, something that might have raised eyebrows. But Nikki was quick to highlight how respectfully it was handled. “The beauty of how us women are and how empowering we are with each other is it’s done in a certain way, and that’s what I appreciate,” she explained. “And WWE has said that to me from the beginning. They’ve been so incredible of respecting my boundaries and my son, which is amazing.”

AEW tried this idea in 2023 with CM Punk’s “Real” World Championship, which was exclusive to Collision.
