• Nixon Newell Breaks Her Silence After Walking Out Of AEW Collision
A women’s tag team match scheduled for AEW Collision on November 8th was canceled after Nixon Newell (fka Tegan Nox in WWE) and Miranda Alize reportedly refused to go through with the planned finish.
According to PWInsider, the two wrestlers were set to face Anna Jay and Tay Conti, but the match was pulled just before showtime when Alize and Newell declined to lose in the originally planned three-minute bout.
While sources told Fightful Select that neither performer expected to win, both pushed for more time in the match – a request AEW producers denied, as the show’s timing had already been locked in.

When the company stood firm, Alize and Newell decided to leave the building before the event began. AEW officials were reportedly caught off guard by the decision, as this would have been the duo’s second match for the company.
Their exit forced a last-minute change, with Hyan and Maya World stepping in as replacements. The two were praised internally for their professionalism and willingness to fill the spot on short notice.
Sources also noted that Alize was the more outspoken of the pair, both at the venue and later online, voicing her frustration with how the situation unfolded.
Several AEW wrestlers who know Alize and Newell personally told Fightful they were “shocked” by the walkout, describing it as out of character – particularly for Newell, who has built a reputation as easy to work with.
Neither Alize nor Newell are currently under contract with All Elite Wrestling, leaving their future with the promotion uncertain following the incident.
In an update on this situation, Nixon broke her silence and tweeted the following this morning:
“Not everything you read is true. Remember that.”
Nixon also noted on her Instagram story that she will stream on Twitch at 7 PM EST tonight.
• Big Reason Why Giulia Lost The Women’s U.S. Championship
This past Friday on SmackDown, AAA Mixed Tag Team Champion Chelsea Green defeated Giulia to win the Women’s United States Championship.
Kiana James interfered in the match and attacked Chelsea. Alba Fyre took out Kiana. Giulia then took out Alba. Chelsea took advantage of a distracted Giulia and pinned her using the ropes.
Chelsea is now a 2-time U.S. Champion and a double champion. Giulia, who is also a former NXT Women’s Champion, tweeted the following about her loss:
“I’m angry at myself, Chelsea…..at EVERYTHING.
That’s real funny dumba$$.
Just watch. I’m going tear it all apart.”
According to Cory Hays, WWE’s plan for Giulia a few weeks ago was to have her enter the main event / WWE Women’s Championship picture soon, which could be the possible reason behind her U.S. Title loss.
Before losing the title, Giulia broke Chelsea’s record for the longest Women’s U.S. Title reign. Giulia’s reign lasted 133 days.
