• Nixon Newell Had a Disagreement With Dominant AEW Star
Nixon Newell and Miranda Alize walked out of AEW Collision on November 8th after objecting to creative plans for the show. Reports indicate that the Tag Team was unhappy with being allotted only around three minutes for their match against Tay Conti and Anna Jay. Others within the company claimed that the pair didn’t want to lose consecutive matches in AEW.
The situation reportedly stemmed from issues dating back to their debut match the previous week, where they faced Megan Bayne and Marina Shafir. According to Fightful Select, Newell and Bayne had a disagreement regarding how that tag team match would be structured. Sources said Bayne appeared frustrated during the bout due to a lack of cooperation in certain moments.
It was also noted that word spread backstage suggesting Newell wasn’t pleased with how the match was laid out, particularly with Bayne not selling for her and Alize, which is what AEW officials wanted given Bayne’s current push as a dominant competitor. Another source added that Newell seemed eager to end the match quickly because of how the setup had gone.
When reached for comment, Newell denied the reports, saying that there was no disagreement and that only she and Miranda truly know what happened.
During Collision, Alize posted on X that the duo had “so much to say,” while Newell later told fans to not believe everything shared online.
• WWE Star Not Expected To Return Until Mid-2026, WWE Planning Big Babyface Run
Zoey Stark has been sidelined since May after suffering a devastating knee injury during a Money In The Bank qualifying Triple Threat Match against Rhea Ripley and Kairi Sane. While going for a Missile Dropkick on Sane, Stark landed awkwardly, resulting in a torn ACL, MCL, and meniscus.
The 31-year-old underwent a three-hour surgical procedure to repair the damage and has been out of action ever since.
According to Bodyslam+, Stark’s recovery is progressing positively, though her return is not expected until mid-2026. WWE officials reportedly remain very optimistic about her future and have already begun discussing potential creative plans for her comeback, including a babyface run when she’s cleared to compete again.
In her most recent update on X, Stark revealed that she had partially lost motion in her leg following the surgery, but managed to regain it later, noting that her recovery has been progressing well.
• Ridge Holland Wasn’t Aware Of His GoFundMe Campaign, Apologizes
Former WWE wrestler Ridge Holland has issued a public statement clarifying the situation surrounding his recently launched GoFundMe campaign, which gained significant attention after receiving donations from several wrestlers.
The former NXT Tag Team Champion explained that he was not aware the fundraiser was going live and had no prior discussion with the family member who created it. He has since asked for all future donations to be halted.
“Thank you all for the incredible support shown through the GoFundMe campaign.
However, I want to clarify that I was not aware the page was going live and had no prior discussion with the family member who created it.
I’ve since requested that no further donations be accepted, and this change should take effect within the next 24 hours.
Once we figure out how to move forward and I recoup the amount donated, I will be donating said amount to charity.
I sincerely apologize if the page caused any upset or offense – that was never the intention. Thank you for your understanding and kindness.”
The GoFundMe was initially created to help Holland and his family cover financial expenses following his surgery and early WWE release. Almost $10,000 were donated.
