• NWA Doing An All-Women’s PPV, Mickie James’ Role

On tonight’s season premiere episode of NWA Powerrr, former WWE Women’s Champion Mickie James joined the National Wrestling Alliance.

NWA President Billy Corgan then revealed that the NWA will be doing two pay-per-view events in late August.

The first one will be an all-women’s pay-per-view, held on August 28, titled NWA In Power. Mickie James will be the Executive Producer of this event.

After her WWE release, Mickie noted on a podcast that she wanted to start an all-women’s brand in WWE, but her idea was shot down and they told her that WWE Evolution 2018 (WWE’s first and only all-women’s PPV) was the worst drawing PPV of all time.

Mickie thanked Corgan for this opportunity, as she wants to show that women’s wrestling is just as important as men’s wrestling, and draws as much money. Mickie wants the world’s top female wrestlers at this PPV, even if they are under contract with other companies.

The second one will be the NWA 73, the company’s 73rd Anniversary show, which will take place on August 29.
