On the other hand, this week’s AEW Dynamite drew 692,000 viewers on TNT.

This is the 4th time NXT has beaten Dynamite in terms of viewership in the Wednesday Night Wars.

During a recent media call, new NXT Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair said that WWE needs a new developmental brand, as NXT is now on RAW and SmackDown’s level:

“It really made me realize just how much NXT and the Performance Center as a whole, has evolved. Especially I guess in the entire company, with NXT being a third brand, we need a new developmental to developmental, as NXT is no longer developmental.”
