– Tonight’s episode of NXT kicked off with NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez and #1 contender Giulia facing off. They will have their NXT Women’s Championship match at New Year’s EVIL. Roxanne & Cora Jade attacked Giulia, but Kelani Jordan made the save.
– Stephanie Vaquer got attacked backstage.
– Je’Von Evans def. Wes Lee
– Josh Briggs & Yoshiki Inamura formed a Tag Team and said they will dominate the NXT Tag Team Division.
– Hank Walker & Tank Ledger def. Tyriek Igwe & Tyson Dupont
– NXT Champion Trick Williams and #1 contender Oba Femi had a face off. Eddy Thorpe interrupted and accused Oba of being the one who attacked him backstage last week. Oba claimed he had nothing to do with Eddy being attacked, and is done with Thorpe. Oba said at New Year’s EVIL, Trick will lose his NXT Title to him and his reign will begin. Thorpe said Trick is a manufactured sports entertainer and wouldn’t last two weeks in the Japan Dojos he was in. Trick offered to face Thorpe next week and laid him out.
– Fatal Influence def. Gigi Dolin & Tatum Paxley
After the match, Fatal Influence continued to beat them down, but Shotzi (former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion) returned after 301 days to make the save.

After the match, Stephanie Vaquer appeared behind Cora and punched her.
– Eddy Thorpe signed his NXT Championship match contract against Trick Williams for next week. Ava told Eddy that NXT staff is still looking to find the culprit who attacked him backstage last week. Eddy said he knows who attacked him, and revealed it was himself. Eddy said he did it so he can get an NXT Title shot without having to win the Iron Survivor Challenge at Deadline.
