NXT Results – SmackDown Star Loses, In-Ring Return, Debut, Betrayal Explained

Tonight’s episode of WWE NXT aired from the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. Below are the complete results from the show:

– Kelani Jordan defeated WWE Women’s Speed Champion Wren Sinclair after she tapped out.

This was Wren’s in-ring return.

– Shiloh Hill told NXT Women’s North American Champion Tatum Paxley and Lizzy Rain that he had been endorsed by Papa Shango, Marie Curie, Timothée Chalamet, and Mike Tyson as Mr. NXT. Tristan Angels showed up and said he hopes Charlie Dempsey stretches some sense into Shiloh tonight.

– DarkState explained their betrayal of Saquon Shugars. Osiris Griffin said Saquon didn’t fit in as he wasn’t a Division 1 athlete like them. Cutler James said they gave him chances but he became a liability, while Dion Lennox claimed Saquon tried to turn the group against him and insisted DarkState is nothing without him.

– Wren Sinclair was being checked by a doctor. NXT Women’s Champion Lola Vice encouraged Wren to keep her head up after her loss earlier, but Kali Armstrong arrived and mocked her. Kali then shifted her focus to Lola’s title, warning she would be watching the championship match against Izzi Dame later tonight.

– WWE Men’s Speed Tournament Match: Sean Legacy vs. Dorian Van Dux ended in a draw. Both of them were eliminated.

– Nattie told Layla Diggs she would be in her corner for her match against Jaida Parker.

– Jaida Parker defeated Layla Diggs. This was Diggs’ NXT debut match.

– WWE Speed Champion Lexis King called himself the fastest man alive. Nathan Frazer then appeared to hype his match against Romeo Moreno.

– NXT Champion Tony D’Angelo said he is ready to face Kam Hendrix next week. He then called out Naraku, who said he is there to protect Tony and his title and that they are headed for war. Kam interrupted, boasting about beating two champions last week and saying he intends to destroy Tony. He then tried to attack Tony, but Naraku stepped in and stopped him.

 

– Tavion Heights tried to apologize to NXT North American Champion Myles Borne backstage, but both were attacked by DarkState.

– The Vanity Project ran into Tate Wilder and mocked the stitches he got after his match against Keanu Carver. Tate then challenged Jackson Drake to a match next week.

– WWE Men’s Speed Tournament Match: Romeo Moreno defeated SmackDown Star Nathan Frazer.

– Izzi Dame asked Niko Vance where Shawn Spears was, as neither of them saw him tonight.

– Robert Stone spoke with Mason Rook, who was unhappy that Kam Hendrix got an NXT Title match. Stone said Rook could still be in title contention. Rook responded by saying he may have to do something next week. Naraku then appeared and told Rook he will not allow anyone to ruin that match.

– Shawn Spears attacked Out The Mud with a chair. As a result, their scheduled match was canceled. Niko Vance wasn’t happy about it.

– Kali Armstrong said she might win both women’s titles in NXT. Thea Hail interrupted and mocked her by calling it a dream for Kali.

– Shiloh Hill was speaking to Zaria after which Lizzy Rain attacked her. The two women had to be pulled apart.

– Shiloh Hill defeated Charlie Dempsey.

After the match, Tristan Angels came out and said Robert Stone approved a Mr. NXT pageant taking place in two weeks.

– Izzi Dame was unhappy with Shawn Spears attacking OTM and walked out frustrated. Spears said she was right that he shouldn’t have gotten The Culling a match on the same night she was facing Lola Vice.

– NXT Women’s Championship Match: Lola Vice (c) defeated Izzi Dame.

OTM took out Shawn Spears and Niko Vance after they tried to distract Lola. Izzi accidentally hit the referee with a running knee during the match.

– DarkState said they are back and spoke about their attack on Myles Borne and Tavion Heights. They said they are coming for all the gold as they walked out of the Performance Center. Saquon Shugars was seen watching them from behind as the show went off air.
