NXT vs. AEW Results – Sting Takes 1st Bump In 5 Years, Heel Turn, Death Match Set

Below are the results from tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite:

– Matt Hardy & Hangman Page def. The Hybrid 2 (After the match, Page said he didn’t sign Hardy’s contract last week, but instead signed a match against Hardy at AEW Revolution PPV.

Matt proposed their match to be a “Money Match”, where the loser must pay 30% of their 2021 first quarter revenue to the winner. Private Party & The Hyrbid 2 attacked Page after this. Dark Order made the save for Page.

– Riho def. Serena Deeb to advance to the next round of the AEW Women’s Eliminator Tournament

– Orange Cassidy def. Luther

– Taz called out Sting. Sting then came down to the ring and Taz mentioned how Sting has always needed the baseball bat to protect him.

Sting then threw the bat away, took off his jacket and began punching Brian Cage.

Cage then ended up powerbombing Sting! This was Sting’s first bump in over 5 years. You can watch it below:

– The Young Bucks (c) def. Santana & Ortiz to retain the AEW World Tag Team Championship (Inner Circle attacked Young Bucks after the match. Don Callis didn’t let Kenny Omega help them. Callis sent The Good Brothers and they took their time)

– Brandy & Cody Rhodes revealed the gender of their unborn child: it’s a girl!

– FTR def. Sydal Brothers (Jurassic Express came out after the match and got some payback)

– Jon Moxley, Lance Archer & Rey Fenix def. Eddie Kingston, The Butcher & The Blade (After the match Good Brothers attacked Moxley. AEW World Champion Kenny Omega said he’s in a giving mood and will give Moxley his rematch for the AEW World Title at Revolution, but he gets to pick the stipulation. Omega announced that it will be an Exploding Barbed Wire Death Match and hit him with a V-Trigger to end the show)
